Lemon, is this picture made by yourself? It looks so lovely.
I love this software as well, since even the size of the classroom is big, everyone can still have the opportunity to participate in. Especially the competitive mode, which can motive learning.
However, I believe it is hard to say that it will not distracted people, since the students may focus on the game process, rather than the content. But anyway, the effort on involving students into study activities cannot be ignored.
You are so talented and the way you present the content is AMAZING. Did it take you long time to design it this way? Concerning the content, it was well-organised allowing us to be on the track by looking at the pictures. The video is an asset that nobody misses. I suggest you look at Socrative.com which is a similar tool but with different features.
My gosh your post is so vivid and vibrant! With the visual representations of your explanation, the steps, pros and cons of Kahoot are so clear to me now. Both pleasing to the eye and informative! I agree that because the questions are not written on students' smartphones, the ones who sit at the back are disadvantaged, and it's kind of bothersome to bob our heads up and down trying to read the board and match the answers on our device.
On the plus side, Kahoot is also good for activating schemata at the beginning of the lesson. Students can be introduced to the lesson by giving predictions and relying on what they already know about the topic to be discussed.
Anyway, I really enjoyed reading your posts and I look forward to more!
P.S. I'm so sorry I haven't been checking your blog more often recently.
